Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift (3pm-11pm)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Direct maintenance workforce on a day-to-day basis.
2. Provide direction and oversee all assignments allocated to maintenance technicians.
3. Review planning and scheduling with the maintenance manager.
4. Audit and ensure the quality of work performed by maintenance technicians.
5. Convey and schedule maintenance activities effectively with operations.
6. Evaluate the qualifications of maintenance technicians and recommend training/development as needed.
7. Replace and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies.
8. Identify corrective actions for technicians diligently.
9. Manage technicians’ schedules and timecards.
10. Supervise the preventative maintenance program on manufacturing equipment.
11. Minimize equipment downtime through corrective and preventative maintenance.
12. Lead and assist with capital improvement projects throughout the facility.
13. Oversee installation and electrical setup of new or moved machinery.
14. Supervise and assist with mechanical repairs across the facility and on machines.

Job Requirements:

1. Analyze equipment problems, identify root causes, and possess project management, technical reading, and supervision skills.
2. Lead and direct continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Possess clear written and verbal communication skills.
4. Have knowledge/experience with PLCs, digital and analog sensors.
5. Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic systems.
6. Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
7. Experience with servo motors, encoders, pumps, gearboxes, steam, and ammonia.
