Are you our next Maintenance Supervisor?

Your attention to detail makes you ideal for observing issues and maintaining responsibility for the entire property. You focus on safety, attractiveness, comfort, and assist in other maintenance tasks when needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and train the maintenance team
2. Oversee apartment make-ready procedures
3. Conduct regular inspections of grounds, buildings, and major equipment
4. Make repairs or replacements as necessary with approval from the Community Manager
5. Assist in tracking the maintenance budget
6. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies
7. Be available or on-call for emergencies when assigned
8. Ensure employee compliance with the Washington State Residential Landlord & Tenant Act

Qualifications:

• This position has supervisory responsibilities
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
• Experience leading maintenance teams

• Knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
• Familiarity with power, water, and gas turnoffs, fire extinguishers, and hydrants
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and appliances
• General understanding of building equipment
• Ability to evaluate deficiencies and troubleshoot faulty parts
• Own and maintain your own tools
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with team members and contractors
