JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure that the community's buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet the company's standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality.

JOB DETAILS

  • Unit Count: 116
  • Property Type: Stabilized, Mid-Rise
  • Work Schedule: M - F, 8am - 5pm; on-call required on a rotating basis every two weeks
  • Seeking a dynamic Maintenance Supervisor with 3-5 years of property management experience in a supervisory role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with and complete work orders from resident requests and routine community upkeep by diagnosing issues, making repairs according to policies, safety standards, and codes.
  • Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, obtaining supplies, and inspecting completed work.
  • Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, units, signage, leasing office, and other areas to reflect high community quality and Greystar standards.
  • Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and materials, and coordinate with the Community Manager for supply orders within budget.
  • Perform monthly preventative maintenance as per policies.
  • Support cost control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and practicing efficient use of materials and tools.
  • Conduct safety meetings, ensure MSDS sheets are current, and stay compliant with OSHA and safety laws.
  • Provide excellent customer service by respecting residents, responding to inquiries and complaints promptly, and managing work orders efficiently.

The hourly pay range is $27.88 - $34.00 (Redwood City).

Additional Compensation:

Compensation varies based on experience, business needs, and location, and may include bonuses based on individual and company performance.

  • Corporate roles may participate in quarterly or annual bonuses.
  • Onsite roles may have weekly, monthly, or quarterly bonus opportunities.
