Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience in the wood products industry preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, reliability and continuous improvement culture.
• Supervise, coach and develop maintenance team members.

Position at Hood Lumber. We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our Waynesboro, MS lumber facility. In this role, you will lead the maintenance team in ensuring equipment reliability while driving safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement across the operation. You will oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and coordinating timely repairs to support production needs. This position plays a key role in maximizing equipment uptime, product quality, and overall plant productivity while reinforcing a strong culture of safety and operational excellence. Salary Range

$73,000 - $104,000
