Job description

THIS ROLE IS A NIGHT SHIFT OPPORTUNITY

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent
• 5 years of experience within manufacturing
• Leadership, management or supervisory experience
• Excellent communication, coaching and mentoring skills
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift and walk for periods of time

Preferred Requirements:

• Six Sigma Certification or training courses taken
• Associate's degree or technical degree
• Experience working with/around injection molding machines

Day to Day:

• Account for the safety of employees that you supervise, and ensure they are in accordance with safe work expectations
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation activities to implement preventative actions aimed at decreasing environmental, health and/or safety concerns
• Conduct any counseling, written warnings, or suspensions relating to violations of plant rules
• Track and direct all parts manufactured as needed for work orders
• Manage any housekeeping items of your assigned production area
