You will manage HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems, and drive a preventive maintenance program.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to coordinate contractors, train staff, and manage supplies within budget constraints.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience in healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Understanding of HVAC, boilers, water systems and emergency systems.
• Ability to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise team members.
• Promote safety and compliance: document fire inspections and coordinate drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program development and execution.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget while adhering to guidelines.
• Supervise external contractors and coordinate their work.
• Ensure facility and equipment safety, operability, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide job-specific training and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.

We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Success in this position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members

• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills

• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program

• Maintain Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators

• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines

• Supervise Contractors: Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors

• Maintain Standards: Ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with all regulations

• Train Staff: Provide job-specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures

• Coordinate Schedules: Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets
