Job description

Maintenance Supervisor

We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join Kaiser Aluminum Warrick Operations in Newburgh, Indiana.

Responsibilities
  • Optimize equipment reliability throughout quality and recovery through the use of established equipment reliability practices.
  • Serve as an on‑shift technical resource to maintenance and production personnel for guidance and troubleshooting.
  • Expedite problem solving to prevent process delays or re‑establish product flow in an expeditious manner.
  • Assist with technical issues, equipment performance issues, root cause analysis, training and compliance issues.
  • Enter downtime events into the tracking system with all technical details associated with the event and identified root cause.
  • Lead and supervise maintenance craft personnel.
  • Organize, track, and implement minor equipment/process improvement projects.
  • Optimize equipment through the implementation of equipment reliability practices.
Qualifications
  • 2‑year technical degree in a maintenance‑related discipline or related work experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical maintenance, engineering, or related field in an industrial environment.
  • Maintenance supervisory experience in an industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and rotating equipment.
  • Safety mindset with thorough understanding of safety policies and procedures.
  • Initiative to problem‑solve and take independent action.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adjust communication style and interact across all organizational levels.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills to manage multiple priorities.
