Job summary

Redstone Residential is seeking a maintenance technician to join our on-site team. You will help maintain grounds and buildings, assist with repairs, and ensure apartments look their best for new residents.

A focus on strong customer service and teamwork is essential in our fast-paced, purpose-driven community. Candidates should have 2+ years in maintenance and HVAC, physical stamina to lift 75 lbs, and the ability to stand for 8–10 hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience (maintenance, plumbing, electrical).
• 2+ years of HVAC experience.
• Property management experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and basic maintenance skills.
• Able to lift at least 75 lbs and stand 8–10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds and buildings clean.
• Assist with repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and teamwork.
• Prepare apartments for new residents prior to move-in.
• Oversee apartment turnovers.
• Escalate issues to the Community Manager as needed.
• Respond to emergencies per policies and procedures.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction by meeting expectations.

CLASSIFICATION: Full-time, Non-Exempt, eligible for benefits

COMPENSATION: $29.00 Per Hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure that the property maintains an exceptional curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings properly maintained.
• Assist with repairs and other general maintenance duties.
• Consistently and genuinely demonstrate exemplary principles of customer service and teamwork. s.
• Ensure the best possible appearance of each apartment prior to new resident move-in.
• Oversee apartment turnovers.
• Communicate with the Community Manager on any problems with maintenance or curb appeal that require further attention.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies, according to policies and procedures.
• Contribute to resident satisfaction by ensuring that customers' expectations are met and exceeded.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must have excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and basic maintenance skills
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. and work 8-10 hour standing shifts
