Job summary

TRG Management Company, LLLP is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for The Canopy West River 2 in Tampa, FL. The role oversees hands-on maintenance across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry tasks while leading a team to ensure high-quality apartment upkeep.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience, EPA/CFC certification, and strong communication. A high school diploma is preferred; on-site work and on-call availability are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC.
• Three years of hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• EPA or CFC certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or assist apartment turns for new residents (painting, flooring, general repairs).
• Perform hands-on maintenance, inspection, repair of apartment homes and common areas.
• Lead maintenance staff; delegate, supervise, and assist in department tasks.
• Install/repair electrical systems, appliances, HVAC equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and document findings in log.
• Provide on-call emergency service as required.
• Maintain grounds and keep areas free of trash and debris.
• Monitor mechanical equipment upkeep (water heaters, HVAC).
• Diagnose malfunctioning equipment and replace faulty components.
