Omya Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional to develop preventive maintenance plans, standardize procedures, and support global operations. You will organize the group database, create training materials, and lead knowledge transfer across plants while coordinating with suppliers and project teams.
International travel will be required. Applicants should have a university degree in mechanical engineering, at least five years of industrial maintenance experience, and strong communication and
Maintenance Guidelines and Standards Development Design preventive maintenance plans for some equipment.
Develop Condition Monitoring Matrix for all Omya critical equipment.
Support Process Competence Centre and Machine Technology development regarding standardization & improvement of existing machines & equipment.
Collect the existing maintenance documents in the plants and adapt it to the Group maintenance template.
Organize and structure the Group database for preventive maintenance plans.
Collect the existing training materials and adapt to the Group template.
Define a maintenance training catalogue for the Group.
Prepare or improve standard templates for all 20 Key Maintenance Elements with Competence Centre Maintenance recommendations.
Communicate and share on the Group preventive maintenance database and training catalogue to operations worldwide.
Exchange and transfer information and know-how between plants.
Maintain and continuously improve the Maintenance database (preventive maintenance guidelines, Omya standards, execution job…) in Omya portal in order to share best practice and Know-How.
Provide plants with specific machine support through ongoing Maintenance Project.
Technical support in supply of spare parts to plants.
KPIs agreed in yearly MbO.
Good command of both oral and written local language and English are required. Good command of both oral and written additional language is beneficial. Travel needed to suppliers and industrial sites around the world when necessary.

University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
5 years of relevant experience in industrial sites: maintenance of equipment and machinery in mineral processing. Good interpersonal and organizational skills. Good communication skills. Confidence with international exposure. Knowing Omya equipment is a plus.
Salary range - $90k - $105k annually.
