Job summary

Highmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Verde Vue in Savannah, GA. The role directs maintenance staff, oversees the upkeep of the community, and supports budget and vendor coordination to ensure timely, cost-effective upkeep.

Strong leadership and hands-on maintenance experience are essential. The ideal candidate has at least five years in apartment management, can motivate teams, and holds a Type II A/C certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Five years of apartment management and supervisor experience.
• Ability to direct, motivate, train and develop subordinates.
• Type II A/C Certification or Universal required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees maintenance staff and ensures community areas are maintained.
• Monitors and improves team performance through skill development.
• Maintains inventory and orders supplies as needed.
• Performs hands-on maintenance for market-ready, occupied and preventative tasks.
• Obtains bids and coordinates with contractors; aware of pricing.
• Works with Property Manager to manage the community budget and expenditures in maintenance.
