Job summary

Riverccc is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility maintenance operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. The role requires strong leadership and technical knowledge to manage HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, and related equipment.

You will hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, and oversee contractors within budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Ability to lead and train a team while promoting safety procedures.
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, water systems and emergency systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance staff.
• Promote safety and compliance through inspections and drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance program development and execution.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise external contractors and coordinate their work.
• Ensure facility and equipment meet safety, operational and regulatory standards.
• Provide job-specific training and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
• Coordinate staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Success in this position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members

• Promote Safety & Compliance: Conduct and document fire system inspections and coordinate monthly fire drills

• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program

• Maintain Equipment: Inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators

• Manage Supplies & Budget: Order maintenance supplies and equipment while adhering to budget guidelines

• Supervise Contractors: Oversee and coordinate work by external contractors

• Maintain Standards: Ensure the facility and its equipment are safe, operational, and compliant with all regulations

• Train Staff: Provide job‑specific training and promote adherence to safety procedures

• Coordinate Schedules: Plan department staffing according to census needs and labor budgets
