Ashley Furniture is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for 1st shift to direct daily maintenance tasks and allocate resources across our industrial plant. You will coordinate machine maintenance and electro/mechanical teams to support production and drive improvements across the facility.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years in manufacturing, and supervisory experience. The role requires PPE and may involve various shift schedules to meet production needs and safety

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
• Experience in supervision and in manufacturing or warehouse equipment processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day activities and assign tasks to maintenance staff.

MaintenanceSupervisor1st Shift

The Maintenance Supervisoris to direct the day-to-day activities and assign tasks as necessary. This position will coordinate Machine Maintenance and Electro/Mechanical Tech resources to support the plant as required. Continuous improvement recommendations are expected in order to improve processes and systems corporate wide. This position will also assist production management in the maintenance, training and operation of this equipment. The Maintenance Supervisoris responsible for all activities/persons associated with the direction and support of maintenance functions at a given Ashley location. This could include building, machine, and supports groups depending upon the location.

What do you need?

This position is located in an active industrial manufacturing and distribution center with moderate to high noise levels, temperature variations, and material handling equipment in operation. The role may require extended periods of standing or walking on concrete floors and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and steel-toed boots. The fast-paced environment involves time-sensitive and safety sensitive operations and may include various shift schedules to support production and distribution needs.
