Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our maintenance team and uphold brand standards across facilities. The role requires overseeing preventative maintenance, safety compliance, and guest-ready environments in a hospitality setting.

The ideal candidate will have hotel maintenance experience, knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing, with strong leadership and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High School education required; post high school education preferred.
• Knowledgeable in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and carpentry basics.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or supervisory role is valued.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maintenance functions follow brand standards and safety requirements.
• Perform and supervise preventative maintenance on equipment, HVAC, plumbing and facilities.
• Address guest requests and maintenance issues promptly and professionally.
• Act as Manager on Duty when required and supervise staff in maintenance tasks.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• To ensure that all maintenance functions, including preventative maintenance are following company and
• brand standards for compliance and safety
• Ensures fulfillment of preventative maintenance programs o brand standards including equipment, heating
• and air conditioning units, ice machines, fire extinguishers/smoke alarms, plumbing
• Completes preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public space
• Ensures swimming pool and spa maintenance duties are performed according to brand standards and health department regulations
• Proactively follow specific departmental procedures in performing repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work in a safe and neat manner.
• Delegate, supervise, and participate in all preventive and general maintenance programs by maintaining a room's maintenance strategy and scheduling preventive maintenance
• Assists other departments in fulfilling guest requests and resolving guest concerns
• Educated hotel personnel on emergency procedures and safety precautions
• Acts as Manager on Duty when required
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education, post high school education preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel maintenance position, supervisory role preferred
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general carpentry

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to multi-task

• Ability to exceed expectations of guests
