Job summary

Judge Direct Placement in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team and drive daily reliability improvements. This on-site role requires shifting availability and a hands-on approach to maintenance, safety, and process excellence.

You will implement preventive maintenance programs, diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, and collaborate with production to minimize downtime while managing parts inventory and budget.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in maintenance supervision.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the maintenance team, ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
• Create, implement, and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and food safety regulations.
• Track equipment performance and manage upgrades, modifications, or improvements when needed.
• Partner with production teams to resolve equipment concerns and minimize disruptions to production schedules.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment performance metrics.
• Train, mentor, and develop maintenance staff to strengthen technical skills and promote a safe working environment.
• Manage spare parts inventory and oversee the maintenance budget to ensure cost effective operations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
