Job Description

Insight Global has an immediate need for a Maintenance Supervisor to support the Industrial Services operation in our Plainville, Connecticut office. This position offers a diverse mix of projects and hands-on experience across several service areas and operating divisions. The primary role involves supporting and conducting field installations for industrial projects and systems. The project technician will handle project coordination for Loureiro install crews and client needs, and may assist with installations when necessary. Responsibilities include operations and maintenance of remediation systems, decontamination/demolition, plumbing, electrical, and machine guarding. Manual dexterity, technical skills, organizational skills, project understanding, and delegation are crucial for success. Reading instructions from work plans, manuals, drawings, and schematics is essential. Training and adherence to safety practices are mandatory while performing all field activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician and a HS diploma, technical school, or equivalent. - Experience supervising groups of Maintenance Technicians
• Basic acumen with hand tools and troubleshooting tooling.
• Fundamental knowledge/skills with powered tools (cordless tools, bandsaw, etc.) for cutting, drilling, and tapping.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Management experience with financial work
• Knowledge of repair and troubleshooting methods for remediation systems, especially wastewater treatment.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and equipment.
• Proficiency in welding techniques.
• Familiarity with Lockout Tagout, OSHA 10, OSHA 30, and NFPA 70e. Intellectual curiosity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
