American Landmark Apartments has been awarded one of the best places to work for 5 consecutive years on a national level. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor for The Braxton, a 320-unit residential community in Palm Bay, FL.

The Maintenance Supervisor plays a critical role in AL’s success, overseeing maintenance operations, participating in community activities, and ensuring property upkeep under the guidance of the Property and Regional Managers.

Maintenance Supervisors are eligible for bonuses up to $1,000 based on make-ready status and work order completion.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

1. Schedule and respond to work orders within 24 hours, ensuring follow-up calls.
2. Perform preventative maintenance and supervise in-house and vendor work.
3. Order supplies and track inventory.
4. Coordinate apartment turn efforts.
5. Assist with renewal and leasing efforts to meet financial goals.
6. Interview, screen, and hire maintenance staff.
7. Supervise and train all maintenance personnel.

Qualifying Accomplishments

1. At least 3 years of apartment maintenance experience.
2. 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
3. EPA Universal certification.
4. HVAC certification.
5. Refrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge preferred.
6. Irrigation knowledge.
7. Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
8. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
