Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Senior Aircraft Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance on assigned corporate aircraft, ensuring compliance with airworthiness standards and CFRs. This role requires leadership, budget control, and liaison with the FAA.

The ideal candidate holds an A&P certificate, has 10+ years of corporate maintenance experience, and understands service bulletins and ADs. Global 6500 experience preferred, with a strong commitment to safety and regulatory excellence.

Qualifications

Must hold a valid A'P Certificate.
Minimum 10 years’ experience in Corporate Aircraft Maintenance Operations.
Demonstrates knowledge of the CFRs and aircraft maintenance standards.
Proficient with planning, implementation, and direction of the maintenance programs and control system for the aircraft operated.
Be a highly motivated individual committed to Safety, Regulatory Compliance, and Operational Excellence!
Remains fit for duty and abstain from drug and alcohol abuse.
Recent experience in Global 6500 (6 months within the past 24 mos.)

Responsibilities

Conduct or lead all aspects of maintenance performed on assigned aircraft ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures regarding airworthiness standards.
Lead all maintenance activities of assigned aircraft, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations, manufacturer’s recommendations and company policies.
Develop a budget outlining financial expenses related to aircraft maintenance, parts & labor, tooling, equipment and base facilities.
Supervise and approve expenditures related to assigned aircraft.
Ensure compliance with Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and Service Bulletins affecting company aircraft.
Serve as liaison between the company and the FAA regarding all maintenance policies.
