Job description

Logoplaste is currently seeking to hire a Maintenance Supervisor to join the plant team in Ontario, CA.

Key Tasks & Activities:

• Provide a safe working environment for all employees to ensure an acceptable incident rate.
• Ensure all Lockout procedures are followed.
• Maintain facilities in compliance with AIB guidelines with the goal of achieving/maintaining a “Superior” rating on audit.
• Facilitate effective communication with maintenance personnel to promote a team philosophy.
• Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs for all maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Plant Managers to develop and implement Standard Operating Conditions (SOCs).
• Ensure adherence to the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
• Complete all maintenance projects in a timely manner.
• Direct shift mechanics and line operators regarding PMs and projects.
• Maintain plant line efficiencies at or above budgeted levels.
• Ensure the facility is in good working order and uphold high standards of plant housekeeping.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times.
• Produce quality products consistently.
• Manage parts room inventories with appropriate min/max levels.
• Supervise process adjustments during production on blow molders and auxiliary equipment.
• Participate in and report on process improvement trials, such as light weighting, increasing line speeds, and reducing efficiency losses.
• Collaborate with customers for continuous operational improvements.
• Maintain low levels of regrind production and high regrind usage.
• Reduce generation of contaminated materials and raw material spoilage.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Minimum of five years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience.
• Ability to perform all essential duties satisfactorily.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
