Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance supervisor for our heavy industrial facility in Kentucky. The role oversees day-to-day maintenance operations, including electrical and mechanical systems, with emphasis on safety and uptime.

You will lead multi-craft teams, coordinate with external vendors, and drive predictive maintenance initiatives. Strong PLC/VFD knowledge and experience with heavy equipment are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams in electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting and setup of VFD drives (SEW, Siemens, Lenze, Allen‑Bradley).
  • Experience in heavy industrial manufacturing operations (preferred).
  • Industrial electrical experience in PLCs and plant automation.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee daily maintenance across all shifts.
  • Repair, install and dismantle machinery per plans; work at heights.
  • Lead maintenance teams and external vendors during shutdowns and installs.
  • Train multi-craft technicians to ensure skill readiness.
  • Test electrical systems with meters and oscilloscopes.
  • Lead troubleshooting to minimize downtime and outages.
  • Connect to PLCs and VFDs to identify faults and support production.

Job description

Job Description

Pay:$46-$48/hr(based on experience) +year-endbonus

Responsibilities

Plan and oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs across all shifts.

Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).

Plan and lead maintenance teams and external vendors during plant shutdowns and equipment installations.

Train multi-craft maintenance technicians, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.

Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.

Lead breakdown response and troubleshooting efforts and prioritize critical repairs to minimize downtime.

Connect to PLC’s and VFD’s using laptop software to identify faults, monitor inputs/outputs, and support production troubleshooting.

Support welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.

Identify and upgrade electrical components (VFD’s,I/O cards,PLC’s, etc.) to ensure proper inventory of spare parts are ready available.

Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components.

Manage and oversee outside contractors, vendors, and service providers performing work onsite.

Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures in WO system.

Qualifications

5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience

2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience

Proven experience leading teams in both electrical and mechanical systems.

Experience troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, & Allen Bradley

Experience in concrete, foundries, aggregates, mining, or other heavy industrial manufacturing operations(preferred)

Industrial electrical experience in PLC’s and plant automation.

Ability to support multiple shifts

Experienced in heavy industrial mechanical repairs; rigging, welding & fabrication (preferred)

Experience with Microsoft Office, CMMS, & ERP systems

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
