Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in industrial environment around powered industrial trucks, overhead cranes and processing equipment ( stamping machines, presses, cut-to-length lines, slitters ).
• Strong planning ability to think ahead 3–6 months.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with employee training and development.
• Technical skills in manufacturing processes, including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management, work order management, vendor documentation, setting up vendors. Coordinating and scheduling repairs with the maintenance technician.
• Attend maintenance training sessions with the maintenance technicians to gain knowledge.
• Establish new supply chains and vendor relationships, issue POs, maintain stock parts, and manage WIP.
• Maintain various management systems; work with computer systems to facilitate the team's business (Airba, eMaint, REHSQ).
• Provide training and development; ensure training is compliant and valuable to team growth.
• All other duties as assigned or may change at any time with or without notice.

Requirements

• Experience working in an industrial environment safely around Powered Industrial Trucks, Overhead Cranes, and Processing equipment (stamping machines, presses, cut-to-length lines, slitters)
• Planning: an ability to think ahead and plan over a 3-6 month time span
