HELP USA INC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for one of our facilities in New York. You will oversee the maintenance staff, assign and coordinate their work, and train porters to meet our high-quality standards.

You will visually inspect the physical plant systems, report abnormalities, perform repairs as needed, and be on 24-hour call for emergencies. OSHA compliance and inventory control are also key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; training in maintenance beneficial.
• Experience as Maintenance Mechanic or Assistant Supervisor preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, boiler mechanics and plumbing.

As Maintenance Supervisor for one of our facilities, you’ll oversee the maintenance staff, assigning and coordinating their work and following up on their progress.Training the Porters at your facility to meet our high-quality standards.Visually inspecting the physical plant systems and reporting abnormalities.Making repairs as needed and being on a 24-hour call for emergencies.Adhering to strict OSHA compliance.Inventorying and dispensing materials and supplies.High School Diploma or equivalent OR equivalent experience and skills.Minimum of three years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or two years’ experience as an Assistant Supervisor for Maintenance.Must have a basic understanding of and experience with electrical wiring, boiler mechanics, and plumbing.Must have strong organizational and administrative skills.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.A valid US driver’s license is a plus.Computer literacy with Microsoft applications is a plus.
