Job summary

Homewood Suites New Orleans is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring guest rooms, public spaces, and facilities meet the highest standards. You will support the Chief Engineer in leading the maintenance team, manage preventive maintenance, and respond to operational needs to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, commercial building, or facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and team assignments.
• Perform and oversee repairs to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and building systems.
• Assist in development and execution of preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct routine inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
