Northgate Resorts Jellystone Park in Texas is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a seasonal, full-time role reporting to the Facilities Manager. You will lead daily maintenance directives and manage a team to keep park facilities and equipment in top condition.

The position requires general maintenance and construction experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A proactive safety mindset is essential to guest satisfaction.

• General maintenance, construction experience required.
• Experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water and sewage treatment, machinery operation, general maintenance, and janitorial skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling staff and payroll and maintaining compliance with labor budget.
• Participate in recruitment for the department.
• Monitor and maintain park facilities and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests on time.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with park and home office departments.
• Respond to guest inquiries using service guidelines.
• Engage in additional projects as assigned.

The Maintenance Supervisor(age 18+) is responsible for leading the daily directives of our Maintenance staff. This is a SEASONAL, full-time position and reports to the Facilities Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administrative Duties
  • Comply with local, state, and federal safety regulations and procedures
  • Complete required reports on a timely basis
  • Assist with scheduling staff, monitoring payroll, and maintaining compliance with labor budget
  • Participates in the recruitment process and selection of talent for the department
• Daily Duties
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of the Camp-Resort’s facilities and equipment
  • Respond to maintenance requests on time
• Other Essential Duties
  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and overseeing projects from start to finish
  • Collaborate with park and home office departments
  • Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
  • Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines
  • Participate in other projects and activities as assigned

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

• General maintenance, construction experience required
• Experience in construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, water and sewage treatment, machinery operation, general maintenance, and janitorial skills are preferred.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Able to lift up to 80 lbs
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position
• Regularly move throughout the park
• Continuously climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and crawl
• Able to manipulate fingers, hands, and arms to reach, carry, lift, etc.
• Constant exposure to outside weather conditions
