Job summary

Sora Resource Group in Mocksville, NC, seeks a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead production maintenance operations, ensure safety, and uphold quality across plant equipment. You will train staff, manage maintenance crews, work with electrical and hydraulic systems, interpret schematics, and implement corrective actions while maintaining PM schedules and data records.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or cert in electrical/hydraulics/industrial maintenance is a plus.
• Experience: minimum 5 years in maintenance supervision with electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery, PLCs, motors, pumps, and control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, and blueprints.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus.
• Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet customer requirements in production operations.
• Supervise maintenance associates and enforce company policies; ensure quality and proper records.
• Train staff on production processes, procedures, and quality controls.
• Direct, maintain, and enforce safety and quality programs in the facility.
• Monitor plant equipment operation; minimize non-conformances and issues.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Prioritize work orders; assist with troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules are followed and train as needed.
• Source parts for planned maintenance and emergencies.
• Communicate procedures and safety requirements to operators and maintenance staff; promote safe practices.
• Conduct incident, accident, and non-conformity investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with support groups to ensure resources meet operations needs.
• Promote high standards through personal example; ensure team understands expected behaviors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure customer requirements and expectations are accurately identified and met throughout production operations.
• Supervise and hold production associates accountable to company policies, ensuring quality standards are consistently met with proper recordkeeping.
