Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor (Hands-On)
Location: Miami, FL
Salary: $58,000 per year
Reports To: Director of Operations

About the Role:

We’re hiring a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead day-to-day operations across a portfolio of coliving and short-term rental buildings. This is not a desk job , you’ll be out in the field, solving problems, leading by example, and making sure every unit is safe, functional, and guest-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair leaks, water damage, mold issues, A/C problems, and electrical failures

• Work alongside techs to complete tickets quickly and to standard

• Manage the maintenance calendar, prioritize urgent tasks, and lead turnovers

• Supervise a small team of maintenance techs, ensure quality control, and provide on-the-job training

• Perform property walks, routine inspections, and preventive maintenance

• Coordinate with cleaning, leasing, and operations teams to streamline unit readiness

• Be available for weekend coverage and overnight emergencies as needed

• Track work through ClickUp (or similar platform), ensuring accountability and follow-through

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisor role

• Strong experience with leaks, moisture issues, mold remediation, HVAC troubleshooting

• Ability to lead a small team while staying hands-on

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

• Comfortable using digital tools (task systems, basic mobile apps)

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

• Certifications (EPA, HVAC, mold remediation) are a strong plus
