Job summary

Clarion Suites Riverfront in Metairie, LA is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel's Engineering Department and to assume administrative, financial, and operating duties in the absence of the Director.

The Clarion Suites Riverfront, located at 100 Front Street, is now hiring for a Maintenance Supervisor.

The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department. In the absence of the Director and/or Assistant, the Supervisor will assume the administrative, financial, and operating aspects of the hotel for the Engineering Department.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field required.
• At least three year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field preferred
• Trade school and/or College course work in related field preferred.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
• Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and or in excess of 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
