Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Lebanon County is seeking a Maintenance/Facilities Technician to execute maintenance tasks, lead a team, and ensure operational excellence. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and an understanding of safety guidelines. This role includes a fixed 8-hour shift with possible weekend work, alongside excellent healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance/facilities experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Understanding of ISO and cGMP.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily work orders and employee activities.
• Lead, coach, and train Maintenance Technicians.
• Ensure clean and safe workspaces.

Job description

• Possess knowledge and capabilities to execute Maintenance/Facilities Technician (all levels) roles and responsibilities
• Monitor daily work orders and employee activities
• Coordinate with various department stakeholders on Maintenance actions
• Lead, coach and train Maintenance Technicians
• Procure parts, materials and resources to increase machine uptime; impart expertise and techniques to others within the department
• Establish shift schedules to meet business needs; manage employee schedules
• Actively lead and participate in projects/events to drive improvements
• Fill in for the Maintenance Manager, as needed
• Help with achieving department deliverables and initiatives
• Participate in the interviewing/hiring process
• Host meetings accordingly
• Ensure clean and safe workspaces
• Maintain attendance within the payroll system
• Follow cGMP and adhere to all ISO and safety guidelines and policies

Your Profile

• High School Diploma or GED, required / Vocational school degree, preferred
• Minimum (3) years of maintenance/facilities experience in leading and directing the work of others in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Understanding of ISO and cGMP
• Ability to foster and follow directions and instructions
• Ability to read, write and speak English language
• Multi-tasking abilities
• Detail oriented approach
• Upbeat, team approach
• Service oriented
• Robust communication skills and openness to learn/develop
• Work a fixes 8-hour shift schedule Monday to Friday, but some weekend/night work, as needed
• Up to 5% travel, if needed to satisfy business demand
