Job summary

Washington Healthcare Center is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the maintenance department, ensure safe and functional facilities, and coordinate preventive maintenance. You will manage staff and respond to repairs, while upholding CARE values across our Indiana campuses.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and creating a comfortable environment for residents, with opportunities to lead a team in a healthcare setting. Strong supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • One year of experience in an institutional maintenance department.
  • Supervisory or management experience required.
  • Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling.
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the maintenance department to keep buildings and grounds in safe, functional condition.
  • Manage maintenance staff and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and respond promptly to repair needs.
  • Maintain equipment and respond to resident needs with a supportive presence.

Maintenance Supervisor Opportunity at Washington Healthcare

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring that all building systems, grounds, and equipment are maintained in safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing condition. This role may involve managing maintenance staff, and coordination of preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and responding promptly to repair needs.

Requirements:
