MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR JOB SUMMARY: Performs service duties and supervises and coordinates activities of workers to insure that all upkeep inventory and repair of grounds and buildings of the property is completed in an efficient manner.
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel.
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly supervises one or more employees in the service department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
On-Call rotation required.
Must perform snow removal during various hours/days during unfavorable weather conditions.
Employees must fulfill the performance standards of this position and comply with policies, rules and procedures of the company, including those set out in the Employee Handbook or otherwise communicated (verbally or writing) to employees.
At least [4] years of previous experience in maintenance.
