HONEY GROVE NURSING CENTER is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations, ensure safety, and maintain high standards of facility reliability. You will hire, train, and supervise staff, oversee preventive maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to keep HVAC, boilers, water systems, and generators running safely.

The role requires strong leadership, knowledge of healthcare facility systems, and the ability to manage budgets while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Facility maintenance experience required; healthcare or long-term care preferred.
• Understands HVAC, boilers, water systems, and emergency systems.
• Able to implement and manage a preventive maintenance program.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Able to manage supply ordering and departmental budgeting.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance operations: hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members.
• Promote safety and compliance: conduct fire system inspections and coordinate monthly drills.
• Oversee preventive maintenance: develop and implement a preventive maintenance program.
• Maintain equipment: inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, laundry equipment, and generators.
• Manage supplies and budget: order maintenance supplies and equipment within budget guidelines.
• Supervise contractors: oversee external contractors and coordinate their work.
• Maintain standards: ensure safety, operation, and regulatory compliance of facility and equipment.
• Train staff: provide job-specific training and promote safety procedures.
• Coordinate schedules: plan staffing according to census needs and labor budgets.

We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing team! In this role, you will lead maintenance operations to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and compliant. Success in this position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact as a Maintenance Supervisor

In this role, you will:

• Lead Maintenance Operations: Hire, train, and supervise maintenance team members

• Oversee Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program
