Ardagh Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Ohio facility. You will lead maintenance programs, supervise a team, and drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement.

You will coordinate CMMS activities, plan schedules, and work with engineering to meet production goals. The role requires a Bachelor\'s in Engineering, 3+ years of maintenance experience, and experience with PLCs, TPM, and Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Previous supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with high-speed manufacturing and PLC controls.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics and TPM systems.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or other improvement philosophies.
• SAP experience preferred.

• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.
• Coach and develop employees; resolve issues with management guidance.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, and schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment and train staff; report safety concerns.
• Provide technical direction for operations equipment and engineering performance.
• Develop and implement training plans to increase employee skills.
• Involved in maintenance planning: CMMS system.
• Balance safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale with continuous improvement.
• Inspect materials, products and equipment to detect defects; determine solutions.
• Ensure company procedures and policies are enforced.

The Maintenance Supervisor manages plant maintenance programs and business metrics. The supervisor is responsible for overall facility equipment maintenance, as well as the supervision of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct hourly employees to plan and manage maintenance programs and business metrics.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet daily goals.
• Ensure effective employee relations through coaching and development and resolves employees issues through problem resolution and partner with management for guidance in resolving employee concerns.
• Read and analyze charts, work orders, maintenance, and production schedules to meet customer requirements.
• Ensure safe operation of all equipment, trains employees as necessary, and promptly investigates and reports all safety concerns.
• Provide technical direction for Operations equipment and Engineering performance.
• Develop and/or implement training plans to increase employee skills and capabilities.
• Involved in maintenance planning: CMMS system
• Balances safety, quality, productivity, cost, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas with a focus on continuous improvement in all areas.
• Inspect materials, product, and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Determine best problem-solving solution.
• Ensure company procedures and policies are enforced.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, perferably in Engineering.
• At least three (3) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience in high-speed manufacturing and PLC controls.
• Knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, and TPM systems.
• Experience with Six Sigma, Lean, or other improvement philosophies.
• SAP experience preferred.
