Job summary

Tindall Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate, plan, and supervise the maintenance shop at the Conley, GA facility. You will ensure preventative maintenance is performed on plant equipment, oversee repairs to machinery and utilities, and lead a team of maintenance staff onsite.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED; vocational/technical education preferred.
• 5 years maintenance experience required.
• 2–5 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive maintenance in the Maintenance Shop to ensure equipment reliability.
• Plan and assign maintenance duties and repair requests to mechanics.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and repairs for company trailers.
• Respond to emergency repair requests to equipment and utilities.
• Inspect machinery for safety and OSHA compliance.
• Plan, supervise and complete special projects as directed by Plant Manager or Maintenance Superintendent.
• Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical wiring, and HVAC units.
• Coordinate with vendors for emergency replacement of critical parts.

May need to repair machinery, plant utilities (electrical, plumbing, etc.) and company owned trailers. This will be an Onsite position at the Tindall Conley, GA facility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.Assign preventative maintenance duties and assign equipment repair requests to Maintenance Mechanics.Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules for company owned trailers.Respond to requests by BDS Foremen for emergency repairs to equipment (flat tires, electrical problems, forklift repair issues, etc.).Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with company safety rules and OSHA regulations.Plan, supervise, and complete special projects as requested by Plant Manager or Maintenance Superintendent.Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical wire, and heating/air conditioning units.Contact vendors or sales representatives for emergency replacement of critical machinery parts.Job Specifications or Qualifications:Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED, plus Vocation or Technical Education is preferred.Experience: 5 years of Maintenance experience or related experience is required.Supervisory Experience: 2 to 5 years of similar supervisory experience is preferred.Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will encounter adverse conditions daily. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts; occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibration.
