Job summary

Acro Service Corp. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for our Cincinnati, OH facility on a 2-month W2 contract. You will lead a team of mechanics and electricians, focus on equipment reliability, and drive safety improvements while coordinating with Maintenance and Operations leadership.

The role offers growth into leadership or planning/scheduling paths. The role requires strong problem-solving, SAP and MS Office proficiency, and the ability to work a 13-hour 2-2-3 onsite shift.

Duration: 02-months Contract on W2 (possible extension)

Work Schedule: 1st shift (7:00 AM-7:00 PM)

Position Description:

• As a Maintenance Supervisor, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our Cincinnati, OH facility.
• Your focus will be on optimizing equipment performance, minimizing downtime, and enhancing safety protocols.
• Lead a team of highly skilled mechanics and electricians as you execute preventative maintenance and perform breakdown repairs.
• Work closely with leadership across the site including Maintenance and Operations Managers as you work on implementing new ways to make our equipment run even better.
• You will report to the Maintenance Manager and have career growth potential in that direction or the route of Maintenance Planners or schedulers.

Skills Required:

• Set the Pace - Establish work plans that support and improve plant equipment reliability.
• Strategize to Win - Direct, train, and develop 5-9 maintenance team members as well as contractors as needed for assigned area/shift.
• Drive Efficiency and Impact Results - Identify opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste through applying LEAN manufacturing principles.
• Utilize problem solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and/or mitigate maintenance issues.
• Take a New Angle - Identify, implement, and document maintenance and reliability best practices to foster a continuous improvement mindset across the site.

Experience Required:

• Strong technical aptitude along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP
• Ability to effectively communicate and problem solve
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate others and work with employees at all levels of the organization
• Ability to work an off shift 2- 5 years of related experience

Education Required:

• High School Diploma/GED and related work experience
• Prior experience within plant maintenance or industrial maintenance is preferred
