Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate; some college a plus.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) skills.
• Knowledge of maintenance areas incl. electrical, mechanical, cleaning.
• Six months experience in service industry preferred.
• Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication; proactive with problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair tasks.
• Supervise maintenance crews to complete daily, weekly, monthly, and annual tasks.
• Schedule and monitor timecards for assigned personnel.
• Lead ongoing and future projects and ensure timely completion.
• Enforce safety procedures and report hazards or violations.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for proper maintenance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance & repair, including, power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, commercial painting.


• Assist in the management of the day-to-day activities of assigned projects including supervising day/evening maintenance crew ensuring completion of all daily, weekly, monthly and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.


• Assist with management duties including: scheduling, monitoring and checking of timecards.


• Supervise the completion of all ongoing and future projects.


• Monitor and implement effective safety procedures.


• Report any known accidents, safety hazards or unusual occurrences observed or suspected violations of Company policy to the General Manager, Maintenance Services


• Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and etc.


• Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure all are in good maintenance conditions.


• Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.


• Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.


• Perform other necessary functions as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. • Education Required: High School Graduate. Some college a plus.


• Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).


• Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of maintenance.


• Ability to perform general repair, electrical, mechanical, and cleaning maintenance.


• Desire a minimum of six months worth of experience in the service industry (maintenance industry preferred), but not required
  
  
  
  • Special consideration given to those candidates who have a diverse maintenance background;
  
  
  • Experience with driving light construction equipment preferred.
  
  


• Superior verbal and written communication skills.


• Must be proactive with strong problem solving skills and proven customer service skills and must be willing to lead by example.


• Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule.


• License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands:

• May be required to stand for 8-hour shifts while managing employees.


• Must be willing to work in different indoor and outdoor conditions.


• Must be able to at least 50 lbs.

Salary Range: $24.75 - $25.75 per hour
