Job summary

AUTOKINITON Belleville plant is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead hourly skilled trades, oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate upgrades, and ensure uninterrupted production. You will review work orders, schedule repairs, and collaborate with engineering to optimize equipment reliability.

Requires a Bachelor's in Manufacturing/Engineering or Industrial Technology, 6+ years in a supervisory role, and 1 year of management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Manufacturing/Engineering/Industrial Technology preferred; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor; one (1) year of management experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, stamping, and/or assembly processes.
• Strong knowledge of TS 16949 and ISO 14001 regulations.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience applying lean manufacturing concepts.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform mathematical calculations.

• Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.

• Reviews production, quality control and maintenance reports to plan and modify maintenance activities.
• Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with standards.
• Plans, develops, and implements new methods to improve operations and reduce costs.
• Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies for maintenance operations.
• Directs training of workers to improve performance and acquaint them with policies.

This Full-Time, salary role is a part of our Autokiniton – Belleville 2 team and reports to the Technical Services Manager.

Required Experience

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelors Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred. Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of six (6) years as a maintenance supervisor preferred, and one (1) year of management experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS, WORK ENVIRONMENT AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Duties include but are not limited to stand, walk, twist, bend, lift, see, talk and hear, with an ability to travel.When visiting plant site locations, employees may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration or hazardous materials.
