Responsibilities

• Assist in directing and managing routine cleaning, maintenance & repair, including power washing, slurring, striping, sweeping, and commercial painting.
• Assist in the management of day‑to‑day activities of assigned projects, including supervising day/evening maintenance crew to ensure completion of all daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance and cleaning projects.
• Assist with management duties such as scheduling, monitoring, and checking timecards.
• Supervise the completion of all ongoing and future projects.
• Monitor and implement effective safety procedures.
• Report any known accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, or violations of company policy to the General Manager, Maintenance Services.
• Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills, and related items.
• Conduct regular facility and equipment inspections to ensure all are in good maintenance condition.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards and corporate governance.
• Lead programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
• Perform other necessary functions as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate. Some college a plus.
• Intermediate computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Thorough knowledge of all areas of maintenance.
• Ability to perform general repair, electrical, mechanical, and cleaning maintenance.
• Desire a minimum of six months of experience in the service industry (maintenance industry preferred); not required.
• Special consideration given to candidates with a diverse maintenance background.
• Experience driving light construction equipment preferred.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive with strong problem‑solving skills, proven customer service skills, and willingness to lead by example.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• License: Valid state‑issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record.

Physical Demands

• May be required to stand for 8‑hour shifts while managing employees.
• Must be willing to work in different indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
