Job description

  • Maintenance Superintendent at a Growth-Oriented Energy Company.
  • Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will assist in maximizing and achieving effective maintenance performance through management and daily oversight of the execution of maintenance work.
  • Responsible for oversight of the front-line supervisors and ensuring execution of the daily work tasks as identified by the schedule.
  • Individual will work to improve execution efficiency, supervisor capability and optimize preventative maintenance.
  • Work with a diverse and close-knit group of technicians / mechanics.

Proven leader with a strong record in staff development and retention. Demonstrated ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.

Qualifications :

  • To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • To comply with the regulations at this work location, successful applicants must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent refinery maintenance experience required.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing, refining or experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman or similar supervisory role with multiple first line supervisor direct reports with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop talent.
  • 5+ years experience scheduling and prioritizing activities.
  • Must have good organizational skills and the ability to communicate well. Must be able to work effectively and professionally with others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience working with other scheduling software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, etc.) preferred.
  • Experience in using CMMS (SAP) preferred.
  • Maintain liaison with safety department, engineering, estimating and planning to ensure work complies with safety policies, drawings, specifications and schedule.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Hiring Range :

The hiring range for this position is $127,937 - $191,905 per year plus non-discretionary based upon both company financial performance and individual performance to goals. The candidate selected for this position will be placed according to his / her skills and qualifications.
