Perdue Farms is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to join our Salisbury, MD team. This role involves managing maintenance staff and overseeing maintenance operations within the plant.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, and directing maintenance work plans.
• Recommend maintenance procedures for new facilities and during construction.
• Design layouts for new equipment and process installations.
• Estimate equipment, materials, supplies, and labor needs.
• Supervise repairs of buildings, mechanical, and structural issues.
• Review work orders and help establish maintenance standards.
• Develop and update preventive maintenance programs using CMMS technology.
• Identify chronic maintenance issues and recommend solutions to improve machine efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with USDA regulations and quality standards.

Minimum Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Work in various environments, including wet, moist, dry, and greasy surfaces.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and handle temperatures up to 110°F.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions and wear required safety gear.
