SNF Holding Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily maintenance in a petrochemical-style plant. You will oversee Supervisors and technicians, drive safety, and ensure maintenance work aligns with schedules and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with operations, ensuring permits and documentation are complete, and driving continuous improvement in reliability and uptime. Strong leadership and engineering background required.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Three plus years in a supervisory or maintenance leadership role.
• Engineering degree or equivalent maintenance leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities in accordance with the maintenance schedule and operational priorities.
• Assign and direct maintenance personnel to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Ensure employees understand job scope, safety requirements, timelines, and work expectations.
• Coach, develop, and hold Maintenance Supervisors accountable for safety, schedule execution, workforce productivity, work quality, employee performance, and adherence to maintenance processes.
• Provide direct leadership and oversight to Maintenance Supervisors and maintenance execution personnel, while coordinating closely with planners, schedulers, reliability personnel, Operations, and contractors.
• Monitor work progress and adjust resources as needed to prevent delays caused by permitting, lockout/tagout, material availability, or operational conflicts.
• Monitor schedule compliance, schedule attainment, wrench/productive time where measurable, break-in percentage, maintenance overtime, rework, execution delays, safety performance, contractor utilization, and work-order closeout quality.
• Ensure permit acceptors are equipped to confirm that all required permits, including hot work, line break, and confined space permits, are completed accurately and safely prior to work beginning.
• Conduct field oversight to verify maintenance work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and procedures.
• Track field execution efficiency to drive continuous improvement.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• Participate in equipment failure investigations as required and lead investigations involving maintenance execution failures, rework, poor workmanship, excessive repair duration, or deviations from maintenance procedures. Ensure assigned corrective actions are completed.
• Ensure work orders, inspection forms, and maintenance documentation are completed accurately, and timely.
• Verify repaired equipment is operating properly before returning equipment to service.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, housekeeping standards, and environmental compliance throughout the facility.
• Recommend improvements related to spare parts inventory, equipment reliability, maintenance procedures, and operational efficiency.
• Respond to urgent maintenance needs and provide leadership during emergency or break-in maintenance situations as required.
• Manage break-in work processes to ensure work is timely and as cost effective as possible.
• Collaborate with Operations and Maintenance to maintain focus on reducing break-ins.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

• Chemical/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent maintenance leadership experience preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of industrial maintenance or mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or maintenance leadership experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to prioritize work, manage multiple tasks, and lead in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, production, and environmental compliance.
• Working knowledge of SAP CMMS or similar maintenance management systems preferred.
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound, and laser alignment preferred.
• Working knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including pumps, valves, piping systems, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
• Ability to implement maintenance procedures and manufacturers recommendations using drawings, manuals, blueprints, and P&ID diagrams.
• Ability to work weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work in manufacturing and industrial environments, including exposure to heat, humidity, noise, moving equipment, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, . steel toe shoes, hardhat, gloves, respirator and work in extreme heat and humidity along with working at heights and in dangerous places within proximity to heavy machinery, as well as outdoors in all weather conditions, stand, and walk, climb stairs and ladders, and work in confined spaces.
