Job summary

General Mills Geneva is seeking a Maintenance Storeroom Clerk to manage parts room operations, control inventory, and ensure CMMS accuracy. The role supports technicians and shift supervisors, ordering or repairing parts as required and receiving shipments.

You will participate in monthly inventories, coordinate with vendors for pricing, and help train new staff. The position offers $25.23/hour starting pay, plus a $2.00/night differential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficient in English communication.
  • Experience in storeroom/parts management and inventory preferred.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in varied conditions.
  • Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for parts room development and control, inventory accuracy with CMMS.
  • Order or repair parts generated by CMMS for technicians and shifts.
  • Receive replacement parts and shipments of machinery.
  • Conduct monthly and annual inventories.
  • Research vendors for competitive pricing and document findings.
  • Assist in training new employees.
