The Ghoman Group currently seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee the upkeep of our hotel facilities in Lebanon, IN. The role focuses on electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, with responsibilities to supervise maintenance staff and coordinate renovations and repairs to keep guest areas safe and functional.

Candidates should be organized, proactive, and able to manage emergency repairs while coordinating with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.

• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and breakdowns to minimize guest disruption.
• Troubleshoot issues and fix faults efficiently to minimize downtime.
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule.
• Maintain records/logs of repairs, maintenance work, and inventory.
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors when required.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Pay Rate : $18- $26 per hour

Job responsibilities :

We are looking for a Hotel Maintenance Person to take care of our hotel’s infrastructure (e.g. buildings, electricity.) You will manage maintenance personnel and plan various renovation and repair projects.

In this role, you should be organized and proactive. Familiarity with electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems is essential. If you’re also committed to meeting health and safety standards, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to ensure our hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees alike.

• · Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
• · Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities
• · Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
• · Plan and oversee renovations and construction
• · Act fast to resolve emergency issues (e.g. power outages)
• · Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
• · Supervise team of Maintenance Technicians and Janitors
• · Manage relationships with contractors and service providers

Maintenance Technician – Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of building systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment
• Conduct daily inspections of rooms, common areas, and equipment to ensure everything is functioning properly
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests and breakdowns (guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house)
• Troubleshoot issues and fix faults efficiently to minimize downtime
• Carry out preventive maintenance as per schedule
• Maintain proper records/logs of repairs, maintenance work, and inventory
• Ensure all work is completed following safety standards and company policies
• Assist in installation of new equipment or fixtures
• Coordinate with external vendors/contractors when required
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Support emergency situations (power failure, water leakage, etc.)
• Ensure overall cleanliness and upkeep of property infrastructure
