Job summary

Delcastle Golf Course in Wilmington, DE, part-time Maintenance Staff, offers seasonal work focusing on daily housekeeping, laundry, towel services and general maintenance across offices, spaces, grounds, and facilities. Flexible learning atmosphere; opportunity to contribute in a hospitality-driven property managed by Troon.

The position is part-time and expected to last about 6 months or less, with a compensation of $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or up to 1 month of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general housekeeping and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds.
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the exterior of the facility, including trash cans, sweeping walkways, litter pickup, and outdoor furniture.
• Ensures maintenance of tennis courts and swimming pool.
• Maintains interior cleanliness and appearance, including trash, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and furniture arrangement.
• Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to the supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$18.00 per hour

General Purpose:

Provides daily housekeeping, laundry, towel services, and general maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds, and other areas as required. This is a seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less).

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs general housekeeping and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including, but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and grounds
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of the exterior of the facility, including, but not limited to: emptying trash cans, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furniture
• Assures the maintenance of the tennis courts and swimming pool
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility, including, but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furniture
• Identifies when supplies are needed and reports to the supervisor
• Performs other duties as required

Education/Experience:

• Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands:

• Frequently uses hands and reaches with hands and arms
• Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, and sits
• Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds

Environment/Noise:

• Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles
• Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
• Noise level is moderate

Certificates/Licenses:

• No certifications or licenses are required
