Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a dependable maintenance technician to uphold the safety and reliability of our healthcare facility.

You will perform routine maintenance and respond to on-site needs, ensuring HVAC, boiler and water systems, and essential equipment operate safely and efficiently. The role requires clear communication with staff, adherence to safety policies, and willingness to go on-call for emergencies.

Formación

• Experience with HVAC systems including air conditioning, boilers, water systems, washers and dryers, and emergency power generators.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance principles and safety policies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff and follow directions.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance functions as required.
• Ensure the facility physical plant and equipment are maintained in safe and efficient working order.
• Repair equipment and tools as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience with heading and air conditioning, boiler and water systems, washers, dryers, emergency power generators, and other basic physical plant and equipment items;
• Understanding of principles of preventive maintenance;
• Ability to communicate with staff;
• Genuine care for and interest in elderly and handicapped people;
• Ability to comply with the Patient Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities;
• Ability to comply with Company and departmental safety policies and procedures;
• Ability to read and write the English language;
• Must qualify for company insurance, pass DMV check, practice safe defensive driving skills;
• Ability to perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements as outlined below.

Physical Demands:

May require frequent extended work days, including being on call for emergency situations.

• Sitting: 1-2 hours per 8 hour work shift. Alternates frequently to walking.
• Standing: 4- 6 hours in an 8 hour work shift. Alternates frequently to walking and rarely to sitting.
• Walking: 5 - 8 hours in an 8 hour work shift. Alternates frequently to standing and rarely to sitting.
• Climbing: 1-2 hours in an 8 hours shift.
• Lifting: Up to 50 lbs.
• Driving: May drive daily for local facility related business such as bank and post office.
