CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Sr Technician - Mobile to support our Healthcare sector in the Memphis area. You will maintain medium-to-large buildings and industrial systems, leading by example and ensuring reliable operation of critical facilities.

This role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, and coordination with junior technicians, with a focus on safety, documentation, and timely completion of work orders while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license and completion of an apprenticeship.
• Meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and collaboration with teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate time and materials needed.
• Support energy management and ensure all systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Document maintenance activities and update records.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

• Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

What You’ll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma.
• Valid driver's license and completion of an apprenticeship required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong communication skills to effectively exchange information and collaborate with team members.
• Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
