Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Impact the quality of own work.
Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
Provide guidance and support to junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of maintenance activities and updates to records.
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a diploma.
Valid driver's license and completion of an apprenticeship required.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong communication skills to effectively exchange information and collaborate with team members.
Proficiency in using industry-standard tools and equipment for maintenance and repair tasks.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
