Overview

Gpac is working with an award-winning family-owned growing food manufacturer in Northeastern Massachusetts that is seeking a Maintenance Specialist. This company has been in business for 15 plus years and growing, specializing in made-from-scratch baked goods crafted with high-quality ingredients.

In this role you will be very hands-on while using good manufacturing practices in an environment that is in compliance with health & safety.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven, thrive in a small rapidly growing environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • The Maintenance Person is responsible for scheduling and coordinating preventive maintenance on a routine schedule and troubleshoot and repair breakdowns.
  • Order preplacement parts, tools and equipment as needed.
  • Team with all departments to ensure employee conflicts and concerns are addressed immediately and appropriately.
  • Execute, maintain and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s), HACCP, SOPs, SOOPs and safety guidelines always.
  • Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility conditions to meet necessary safety and food safety standards
  • Responsible for coordinating and communicating with all equipment OEM and facility Contractors
  • Help make decisions on Capital Equipment purchases
  • Communicate all safety and sanitation concerns.
  • All other duties assigned.
