Job Summary

Under the supervision of the General Manager, the Maintenance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the venue's functionality before, during, and after concerts and events. The role involves performing maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, and construction to ensure the venue looks and functions optimally. The individual will oversee scheduled cleaning and various maintenance projects.

Essential Functions

• Perform daily, event, and scheduled cleaning and maintenance projects, including carpet repair/cleaning, painting, elevator repair, bathroom maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other repairs.
• Maintain all facility equipment in good working condition as directed by the Manager.
• Inspect systems throughout the facility to detect malfunctions and determine repairs.
• Develop standard procedures for maintaining the venue and assets.
• Assist with purchasing work materials as needed.
• Schedule and supervise part-time cleaning staff according to event schedules.
• Coordinate with outside vendors on repairs, set props, decorations, and assist with production as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of related work experience.
• Organized with previous supervision experience.
• Experience with cleaning solutions and general repairs/maintenance.
• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Immediate knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems; National Electrical Code knowledge is a plus.
• Able to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to climb, crawl, bend, and stoop with or without accommodations.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
