Qualifications

• Experience with motors, drives, conveyors, and automated equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with PLC systems for troubleshooting purposes.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including nights or weekends if needed.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.

• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Work with PLC-controlled systems to diagnose faults and support troubleshooting (no programming required in most cases).
• Collaborate with production teams to identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation within CMMS systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.

The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician plays a key role in keeping highly automated production lines running at peak performance to meet demanding quality and delivery standards. This position is responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where equipment uptime directly impacts customer satisfaction and plant performance.
