Responsibilities

• Inspect spaces daily to identify litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns.
• Respond to maintenance service requests from supervisors.
• Change lights and perform basic electrical tasks.
• Perform painting, drywall, and office furniture work.
• Maintain industrial building workflows and repairs as needed.
• Assist with general cleaning duties when required.

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Maintenance Specialist. The Maintenance Specialist performs maintenance duties around the facility in an industrial setting. The Maintenance Specialist will also participate in general cleaning duties from time to time, as assigned by the supervisor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect spaces daily to identify problems with litter, mechanical failure, or breakdowns


• Respond to requests for maintenance services


• Change lights


• Perform small electrical and plumbing tasks


• Performs other cleaning duties as assigned


• Perform painting, including drywall, doors, and office furniture


• Perform industrial building maintenance and repairs

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent education/technical certification


• Attention to detail


• Basic knowledge of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work


• Basic skills in mechanical repair and routine facility maintenance


• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, screwdrivers/drills, and wrenches


• Time management skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices


• Degree from a technical college
